Cassette Tapes & The Tape That Made America is a group informational multimedia exploration of the cultural impact played by cassette tapes in the United States.
Cassette Tapes encapsulates the website portion of the project, documenting the cassette tape’s antecedents, invention, and cultural impact through individual posts.
The Tape That Made America is the corresponding documentary, providing a brief overview of the information on the website, as well as emphasizing the cassette tape’s cultural impact with one-on-one interviews.
This project was made alongside Abby Firestone, Ashley Palin, and Grayson Donohue for Dr. Jeffrey McClurken’s HIST 325 class.
